I got a set of G-nibs! Is that exciting to anybody? It’s exciting to me.

Long ago, my friend Lesley told me she wanted a tattoo design for a lady friend that she might have been trying to seductify. I of course said yes and then promptly forgot all about it.  Today came the reckoning.

So here’s a tattoo design I did with the theme “Tri Sestry” or three sisters.  I guess there’s like a play or something.  I don’t know I just like drawing pretty girls.  Who knows if this will end up on somebody’s skin, but I liked the picture.  The text is just a placeholder for the tattoo artist to fill in with their own fancy cursive.

Restless & Pins N Needles

New comics! That’s what we’re all about today.

First up (and very late), Long Beach was a great time full of great people and I want to thank all the new friends and fans that came by and showed support.  I’m not sure if I’ll go to the show next year, but it’s definitely got me looking at next year’s con schedule with hungry eyes.

Secondly, and vaguely related, I’ve opened up for sales on the Pins N Needles book. It’s $5 for a copy (with shipping) and Lindsey and I will both sign/sketch in it for you. It’s great for teen readers and grownup readers alike, even though there is a panel with tiny cartoon boobs in it. Click on the Buy Now button over there in the sidebar and get your copy for Christmas!

Thirdly, I’ve decided to put up my 24 Hour Comic Day western-ghost-story piece Restless for your reading pleasures.  I’ll have a few copies with me at the next con too if you prefer to read on paper (which is always better).   Go check it out in the Comics section.

Vapor Trails is still on track to launch in January, Goodbye Blue Monday is still alive and kicking, and I’ve got a new secret film/graphic novel project coming out next year. Things are looking up for Christmas!

Long Beach Comic Con ’10

As I’ve mentioned before I think maybe, I’ve got a table at Long Beach Comic Con this year along with Ms. Lindsey Lea! Come on down to table #1312 where you can meet us and our table buddies Lance Sawyer, Dan Mendoza and Ryan Kincaid! We got HELLA PEOPLE at our table!

We’ll have copies of Pins N Needles Issue 1 for sale, Goodbye Blue Monday and Pins N Needles prints, and we’ll both be doing sketches. I’ll also be selling a minicomic I did for 24 Hour Comic Day called Restless. It’s about cowboys AND demons. TWO SUBJECTS IN ONE COMIC!

So come on down and say hello. Kevin Woody‘s right next door and I’ll be close enough to throw stuff at Robbi Rodriguez‘s head so it’ll be awesome! There will be candy at our table!

Pins N Needles – Issue 1 Preview

Pins N Needles #1 is off to a limited run at the printers and will be available at Long Beach Comic Con. Lindsey and I are sharing a table with the indomitable Lance Sawyer. We’ll have PNN prints, GBM prints, and some cool handmade minicomics with awesome anagrams for names for your reading pleasure.

But screw all that stuff! Check out this awesome book that I’ll be selling for low low prices! It’s going to be the new hot talk on the street, get in early!
