Wasted Days

The last two nights have been long and productive, but low on web-friendly content. Unless you really want to read a bunch of scribble-scratch and some really loose story outlines that make no sense.

Chubby Asian Teenagers

I’ve been doing some sketching for a comic idea over the last few days. It’s a teen angst sci-fi mystery. Because the more genres you’ve got, the better right? I was not drunk when I wrote the last two sentences.

Here’s a little amalgamation of my favorite bits and pieces that came out. I was afraid I’d lost my line a few weeks ago, but I think it’s coming back full force. Now it’s just a matter of knocking out a script I can be happy with (besides Battlerock or El Segundo) and getting down n dirty on some bristol board. It will happen sooner than we all think.

And before I go pass out, let me plug the Supertron livestream and the Azure livestream. Both absolutely full of pants-shittingly delightful people, and Peter Timony.

Just stumbled onto a really cool art project that combined my love of drawing with my love of hot naked broads. Two of my current favorite artists, Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá (who apparently share a blogspot together and may or may not be able to combine to form 1 really rad MegaBrazilian), contribute.

Craigslist Poetry

Surfing the Missed Connections on Craigslist is an always-bizarre and oft-depressing journey into love and loss. It’s usually pretty good for researching the raw emotions behind those as well. Or just having a chuckle at the utter hopelessness of expecting a response from “i saw you at a coffee bean you were wearing a red shirt, ur so hawt lets hook up”. It’s certainly not the sort of place you’d expect anyone to post something they’d consider meaningful.
