APE 2011

Yo yo yo party people! Many apologies for the lack of Fanart Friday’s these last few weeks. Massive life changes and all that jazz. I’ll return to the fold soon with some fun pieces for you to enjoy.

In more important and interesting news, I’m gonna be at APE this year! I will be shilling some PNN books as well as handing out the fancy new Vapor Trails postcard I made for the show. Stop by and pick one up. THERE WILL BE CANDY!

Fanart Friday – Bionic Commando

Welcome to Fanart Friday: Moleskine Edition.

I picked up Bionic Commando: Rearmed for $5 on the PSN store yesterday. The NES game is still one of my favorite games ever, so it’s pretty much making my day. Today’s piece is done in my moleskine sketchbook with a red pencil and Pentel pocket brush pen.

I’d also like to apologize for the lack of Vapor Trails this week. I injured my shoulder and almost blacked out at work on Wednesday so that put a damper on the coloring. We’ll be back next week with 2 pages. For now, enjoy some Nathan Spencer or Ladd Spencer or whoever the hell is swinging on his robot arm.
